Now Accepting Qualifications: On-Call Planning, Resilience, and Community Development Services

CBCOG is accepting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms interested in providing planning and technical assistance services on an as-needed basis throughout the Coastal Bend region. Selected firms may assist with comprehensive planning, resilience and hazard mitigation initiatives, housing and community development projects, economic development strategies, infrastructure planning, public engagement, GIS services, and grant support activities. The SOQ submission deadline is August 31, 2026, and interested firms are encouraged to review the full RFQ and submission requirements available below. Public Comment Period Open: Public Transportation Planning

The Coastal Bend Council of Governments (CBCOG) is pleased to announce that the preliminary Coordinated Public Transportation Plan is now available for public review and comment.

This document outlines the region's current Public Transportation options.  It will be used to inform action plans for regional transit providers. You can access the full document HERE.
