RLE104 | Law enforcement officers are in daily contact with all types of people. Considering that nearly 10% of the US population has some sort hearing loss, it is reasonable to assume that some of those contacts would be with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This course prepares participants to be able to interact with drivers who are deaf or hard of hearing while performing their law enforcement duties.
This course is offered under the Keeping Texas Prepared – LAW Extension course suite and meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements Interacting with Drivers who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Course
