
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026 COASTAL BEND HURRICANE CONFERENCE – ALL HAZARDS APPROACH
Nueces County, in partnership with the Coastal Bend Emergency Management Association (CBEMA) and the Coastal Bend Council of Governments, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Coastal Bend Hurricane Conference, taking place May 6–7 at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas.
Last year’s conference welcomed more than 1,200 attendees representing local, state, and federal agencies, elected officials, volunteer organizations, healthcare partners, and private industry. Whether you’re new to emergency preparedness or an experienced emergency manager, this conference offers valuable training and networking opportunities for all levels.
Now in its 14th year, this highly regarded regional event continues to strengthen collaboration and preparedness across the Mid-Texas Coast. Attendees can expect high-quality training typically found at larger statewide and national conferences — at a fraction of the cost — with more than 50 breakout sessions to choose from.

Cost: $40 per person (includes all conference activities and meals for both days).
Online Registration: Online registration ENDS April 30, 2026, at midnight. Anyone wishing to attend the conference after this date must register on the day of the event for a cost of $50 per person.

Cancellations submitted by April 15, 2026, will receive a full refund. Cancellations after this date and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Early Bird registration fee for the conference is $40 per person until April 23, 2026. After that date, the registration fee increases to $50 per person. Registrations include both days, all activities, food, and beverages.

Equipment/Apparatus Displays
· Sponsors at the CAT 5 and CAT 4 levels may also have a large equipment display, if requested, at no charge. You will need to request it on the registration form. (CLICK HERE to register an invitational equipment/apparatus display).
· Sponsors at the CAT 1 through CAT 3 levels may request a large equipment display for an additional fee of $500. Fees are not included in the sponsorship. You will need to request it on the registration form. (CLICK HERE to register an invitational equipment/apparatus display).
· Invitational Equipment/Apparatus Display – Refers ONLY to local and state organizations such as fire departments, police departments, state and local emergency response vehicles, etc. There is no charge for “invitational” displays, but a registration form and electrical needs MUST be completed and provided. Door Prizes/Giveaways
We are seeking door prizes, attendee giveaways, and any contributions (in-kind or financial). In-kind donations and/or financial support greatly boost our efforts to cover conference expenses and keep conference fees low for attendees each year.
